Kristof’s claim that the American Dream is leaving America why says that because the research that he did and he found out what was really happening with the education in the United States. Kristof claim the United States is wasting money to compete with Russia militarily we should use that money to compete educationally with Russia because had more adults with university education. One of the facts of the American dream is the education to help students but the American dream is leaving America because other countries are doing better than United States. The education is divided by social classes between the rich people that provides great schools for the rich kids in the suburbs who need the least help and the poor people dangerous schools for inner-city children who desperately need a helping hand. Too often, America’s education system amplifies not opportunity but inequality.

in my opinion I believe that the American dream is leaving America because our society is divide rich people have good school better instructors and more opportunities to susses i life but in the other hand poor people have dangerous schools and they do not have help like the rich people have.
